Plus Size Maternity Jeans

Buying plus size maternity jeans could be perceived as somewhat of a challenge.  You may find it a struggle to find jeans that fit correctly and look good on you, and that's despite the fact that your body is ever-growing for nine months!  But don't despair!  Staying stylish is most certainly possible.

Plus Size Maternity Jeans: Fitting Tips

When looking to purchase plus size maternity jeans, always look for a fit to flatter your shape.  Consider these points when you try on maternity jeans:

Is there enough room for my growing belly?  Give yourself a couple of inches of room, this will save you having to buy new jeans every month.

As your belly grows your hips disapear!  Will they stay on?  Make sure the waist is elastic or there are buttons, this will enable you to adjust them for a better fit.

Give yourself some crotch room.  Too much will just make you look and feel uncomfortable - too little and they will feel tight.

An important consideration is what type of cut is the jean? straight-leg, flare or boot-cut?  Try not to go for the tapered jeans cut, they over emphasise the waist, hip and rear.

Dark wash jeans often appear more slimming.  Try and wear a small heel (if your feet can still take it!) this can help to lengthen and slim legs.

To try and draw attention away from problem areas, try Maternity Jeans with cargo pockets, buttons, flap pockets, and decorative stitching.  These extra details will also make you look stylish.  If possible, go with your regular brand, they may make maternity jeans

Be well and keep blossoming.
